WHAT I WATCHED ON NETFLIX: JUSTIN – THE WICKER MAN

Halloween is tomorrow, and Netflix has your back. The Wicker Man (the 1973 version, not the Nicolas Cage one) tells the frightening tale of a 40-year-old virgin who gets tricked by a remote village and is burned at the stake in the name of ritualistic sacrifice. There’s also a really great music break called “Willows Song” that was covered by the Sneaker Pimps on their album Becoming X. The Wicker Man definitely holds up over time as a mysterious thriller, is extremely visually appealing, and and co-star Christopher Lee (Lord of The Rings, Star Wars) calls it the best movie he’s ever made.
