WE'RE INTO: BIG IN JAPAN 2011

Big In Japan was established in June 2009 in Australia by Ksubi and Kirin as a platform for cultural exchange. The program includes large scale events with leading experimental Japanese artists in Sydney and Melbourne, a series of exhibitions, and an online publication edited by Amelia Groom.

Kyozin Yueni Dekai, OVe-NaXx, Fuyuki Yamakawa, onnacodomo and Yuko Kaseki are Big In Japan 2011. This year the events take place at Paddington Town Hall in Sydney (November 15 and 16) and 1000 Pound Bend in Melbourne (November 18 and 19). There will also be another exhibition of new video works from Japan, art installation by Marian Tubbs, and live performances from Pia van Gelder and Chronox. Doors open at 6pm, first acts at 7.
