Our Studio Session series continues with a look inside the workspace of LA denim phenoms THVM Atelier (an acronym for “this here very moment” and pronounced “them”). The key to the success of THVM – helmed by husband and wife design duo Brian Kim and Olga Nazarova – lies in the designers’ understanding of the importance of denim as a wardrobe essential at its core. Their creations are intentionally minimal and stark in simplicity as to not to become distractions, with the brand honing in on impeccable fit and function, a mission that’s right at home at OAK. Take a look inside their Los Angeles studio, a 7,000 square foot painting factory built in the 1950s, and stay tuned for even more fall arrivals from THVM Atelier.
