STUDIO SESSION: LAURA SIEGEL

IMG_0483v2Photographs by Sean Penhall

After living in New York for 8 years designer Laura Siegel recently relocated her studio to the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), a breeding ground for emerging designers. The building, once used for promoting Canada’s railway, still features its original exposed brick, cathedral ceilings and concrete floors. All of Siegel’s office belongings were handmade by friends and family, both local and from the far-flung villages the designer is regularly traveling to for work.
