S.M.N: JAPANESE DENIM OUT OF DTLA

Located in the industrial heart of Los Angeles, S.M.N (Simple, Modern, Nonpareil) Studio is designing and constructing denim featuring clean silhouettes, hand-crafted washes, and quality materials. Following careers at AG, Hudson and Goldsign with Adriano Goldschmied, Jazmin Kim launched S.M.N in 2016 to provide the men’s premium contemporary market with modern, minimalist 5-pocket jeans. Simple, modern denim with a fantastic fit is what founders Jazmin Kim and Jennifer Liss (both denim experts with denim-infused backgrounds) brought to the denim game when they introduced S.M.N denim earlier this year. After a positive response from consumers, they are now successfully moving on to their second season. We caught up with the team at S.M.N Studio to talk shop and success:
