RECAP: LET HER OUT IN LA

By Lateef Thynative

I had the pleasure of being invited to “Let her out” an edgy, New-Age underground party created by “The Party By Ostbahnof” an event that acts as a safe space for Queer individuals of Los Angeles, to let loose without fear and judgment. It was hosted by Club Kids and creative House Of Avalon.

I had the pleasure of being invited to “Let Her Out” an edgy, New-Age underground party created by The Party By Ostbahnof, an event that acts as a safe space for Queer individuals of Los Angeles to let loose without fear and judgment. It was hosted by Club Kids and creative House Of Avalon.

The air was electrifying, and the music was a good mix of deep techno, and 90’s trance which seduced all of the party goers and put them in an intoxicating state of freedom. As I stumbled around trying to find some familiar faces, I ran into the hosts and my friends, House of Avalon, a group that exudes a carefree aura that is nothing but contagious. I had the honor of photographing them in a couple of Oak’s clothing.

As the night progressed, I met many new faces, and many inspiring individuals who represent Oak’s values. It was an amazing and eye opening experience, it felt great to feel a part of something and find people that mesh so well with you. The party went well into 7am, but this boy couldn’t hang with the kids and left at 4am.

That ends my experience at “Let Her Out”.

I’m signing out.
