While you’ve been shopping our Deep Summer Warehouse Sale in both NYC at our 28 Bond St. store and at OAK 910 S. Broadway in DTLA, we checked out an ongoing exhibit at Benrubi Gallery in NYC that shows off both cities like never before.

At 71 years old, photographer Jeffrey Milstein is known most for his photographs of airplanes and helicopters in flight, from directly below. Naturally, his latest exhibit, LA NY flips the script, and are shots of well-known buildings, landmarks, and other structures from Los Angeles and New York from directly above at 1,000 to 2,000 feet. Like modern-day crop circles, the man-made of structures like Park La Brea, The Met, The Stuyvesant-Town Projects, LA Marinas, Princess Cruise Ships and more are super interesting to see from above. The exhibit also includes some of Milstein’s best from-below work of Boeing planes and helicopters mid-flight.
