Yesterday I decided to beat the heat by gallery hopping in the Lower East Side. I stumbled upon the Louis B James Gallery, and hilariously enough, their exhibition discussed exactly what I was avoiding: the heat. In essence, their current exhibit is a study in color and environment – particularly summer – and how people react emotionally, mentally, and physically to the colors of their surroundings during summer in the city.
