OAK FALL ANTHEM: PREFAB SPROUT “APPETITE”

During our interview with Hugo Manuel of Chad Valley last week, we asked him to offer up a guest pick for our Oak Fall Anthem series. His immediate response was “Appetite” by Perfab Sprout. Formed in the late 1970s, and still together and releasing music today, Prefab Sprout enjoyed minor success in the US with their album 1985 album Steve McQueen.

There’s something about it. It’s not a summer song, it’s not a winter song. It’s a mood. It feels fall-esque, and it’s one of my favorite songs of all time.
