“Perspective”
At any time, any environment resides within a constant state of physical flux. Whether it be microscopic, or one much more cosmic, no state of existence remains completely untouched by another source. Through the use of these stereoscopic periscope helmets, it’s my goal to take this constant state of conversation, and give the viewer a heightened sensitivity to what elements they add, and inversely what elements they take away. I thus give my subjects (you the viewer) the opportunity to simply alter your known perspective, forcing the mind to reconsider its most primary relational tools. In doing so, every participant has both an experience completely unique to him or herself, and in contrast one quite universally felt.
