OAK’s Kyutae Kwon just returned from his month-long stay in Paris, and today he’s sharing some highlights from his first trip to the City of Light. From the Eiffel Tower to neighborhood cafes (and even a cameo from former OAK employee and our dear friend Bow), see the Parisian sights through Kyutae’s eyes in the gallery below!

“I was staying in the Passey area, 16th district. It was very peaceful and charming place. I felt like I just jumped into a scene from the movie Midnight in Paris. Every building has classic exteriors with huge french windows, so I was so happy walking around and seeing them. Actually, the thing I like to do most in Paris is sipping espresso coffee and eating a croissant on the terrace. It made me feel at ease. However, I was surprised that there are soooooo many heavy smokers all over there! Also, I would recommend to go some local places instead of the tourist spots. I was kind of lucky because [my former co-worker and friend] Bow and his wife [who live in Paris] brought me to some local bars and restaurants, which were amazing. There was also an exhibit at Musee des Arts Decoratifs called Korea Now! which highlighted the craft, design, fashion, and graphic design of my home country.” – Kyutae Kwon
