A graduate of Parsons, Korean-born designer Dong-Jun Kang launched D by D in 2009 as the youthful, street smart counterpart to his mainline collection. The brand is based around a call and response between the designer and his customer’s personal style. This mirror effect carries through to D by D’s logo, branded as a reflection of itself. With wardrobe staples like pullover hoodies, and sweatpants given modern twists, D by D targets the characteristically bold male shopper with strong style sensibilities, who is unafraid of expression and experimentation.
