Newly opened by restaurateur Albano Ballerini and musician Francesco Pini, The Classon Social Club aims to bring an old-school jazz atmosphere to the cozy Crown Heights neighborhood. Last night, we headed downtown (BK) to delve into CSC’s modern American menu – excellently prepared by head chef (and Miguel’s roommate) Theodore Cianciosi – and to watch Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton perform his piano set. OAK recommends the pork belly, chicken pate, and Nutella hand pie at CSC.
