don hill's

when we first opened A.OK we threw a bash at don hill’s over a year ago. once host to notorious parties like squeezebox and the misshapes, it’s been one of the newer institutions in new york nightlife. formerly of the beatrice inn, paul sevigny and nur khan recently revitalized the place this past fashion week and once again it’s hot. the new york times gives us a shout, describing the scene as “aspiring rockers with shaggy hair and black T-shirts, ambitiously dressed women in their 20s who work in fashion, slender kids wearing tunics from Oak.” we’re not mad at it.
