After bringing a hard edge collection in 2010, Chrishabana writes a lover’s swan song for spring/summer 2011: his latest offerings are a study of the heart from start to finish. Willing to brave the thorns find a rose, find a pearl amonst the stones, and if need be, seek protection from heartbreak in cage armor. The pieces are apropos for angst-ridden youth: pining for love and listening to the likes of Depeche Mode, Erasure, and Yaz. The cage group is harder than ever as seen in this exceedingly tough cuff, having been updated with reinforced steel plates and rivets.
